the other day after swimming at our local pool, emerson wanted to sit outside the entrance on the circular wall that held a flower bed and a flag pole. he opened up the plastic box of popcorn we had brought for snack and began eating one piece at a time. he was talking about how pretty the flowers were and then decided they needed a snack too. he shoved the box of popcorn in towards the flowers and said, here flowers, have some popcorn. is it good? he then proceeded to scoot the box all the way around the circle feeding all the lovely flowers. it was quite amusing, i must say.
